The dishes are simple yet mouthwatering good, made with the most natural of ingredients, with recipes passed down from generation to generation. In much the same way, The GreeX Restaurant is imbued with many of the traditional recipes I inherited from my grandmother Sofronia. The GreeX Restaurant pays tribute to my family’s heritage. I’ve sought to bring the flavours, the quality and the experience of the Greek kitchen to the Ashland area, the Center of the Universe. At its heart, The GreeX Restaurant is built on the concept of “filoxenia”— legendary Greek hospitality.
Open and inviting, me and my two business partners opened The GreeX Restaurant so that everyone could taste the flavours of Greece in a fun, yet relaxed atmosphere. We source the best possible ingredients and cook the best possible food.
At The GreeX Restaurant we select our vendors carefully, and we stay as local as possible. We look for the best food produced with best practices. And if we can't find something essential that’s up to our standards, we make it ourselves. From scratch.
